Maintain Your Car's AC and Heating System

When your car is serviced in our shop, we'll perform a visual inspection of the air conditioning and heating systems, as well as execute several tests on the unit.

Your visual inspection will include checks of your interior controls and blower, radiator coolant level, hoses, pressure cap and thermostat, as well as searching for leaks or other damage. We'll ensure that your AC compressor belt is functioning for condition and tension, and check the component condition for leaks or damage as well.

Through your heating and cooling tests, we'll fully test the engine cooling system, check for any leaks, and examine the outlet air temperature at the discharge vents.

By selecting ASE certified technicians, you're going with the best, most qualified auto professionals for your heating and cooling needs.

Compressor: Belt-driven device that compresses refrigerant gas and transfers it into the condenser. This is the core of your air conditioning system.

Condenser: Cools the refrigerant. Radiates heat released by compresses gases and condenses them into high-pressure liquids. It's found at the front of your vehicle.

Receiver (drier): This stores your refrigerant and absorbs moisture from it. You should change this every 3 to 4 years to ensure quality filtration and prevent damage.

Orifice tube/expansion valve: Controls and regulates the flow of refrigerant through the system. Also converts high-pressure liquid refrigerant into a low-pressure liquid, so it can enter the evaporator.

Evaporator: Removes heat from inside your car and is vital to your car's operation.
